You deeply want to help.
Whether you are an experienced coach, or just starting your journey, you are looking to learn how to facilitate the deepest level of healing and development.
But this level of training is not easy to come by. There is a huge gap in the coaching industry. Traditional coaching methodologies were designed to speak to the conscious, logical brain. But transformational change happens deeper within.
This is why I developed the the CORE (Coherence-Oriented, Relational, Experiential) method. As a psychologist who has spent 26 years studying experiential psychotherapies and training hundreds of therapists and coaches, I have had the chance to distill the most core elements necessary for unlocking memory reconsolidation and thereby transformational change. When we integrate experiential methods using a framework that is based on how the brain actually changes, new levels of healing and growth become reachable.
The Three Domains of the CORE Curriculum
The curriculum is a 35-lecture sequence delivered over two years. It is designed to move the practitioner through a rigorous developmental arc of theoretical, relational, and technical mastery.
Understanding the Mind
The Scientific & Theoretical Foundation
Understanding the human mind is our birth right. In this domain you will learn a comprehensive map for how the mind works, grounded in neuroscience, phenomenology, and the principle of coherence. We will draw on the predictive processing model of the brain to revisit concepts like attachment through the lends of empowering versus traumatizing emotional learning.
Contacting the Deeper Mind
Mindfulness for Self-Exploration
In coaching, mindfulness is most often used as a form of self-regulation. But it is possible to use mindfulness as an opening for inner exploration. I call this making CONTACT. Contact is a shifting away from intellectualizing or avoidance toward a deep inner listening. Here we move from ‘managing to meeting.’ In other words, we learn to help ourselves and our clients slow down and turn inward.
Updating the Mind’s Mental Models
Transformational Change through Memory Reconsolidation
Here is where you will learn the how. Through a combination of general steps and specific techniques, you will learn how to explore the unconscious mind to discover and transform unconscious beliefs that block change. We will draw on parts work, mind-body dialogue, emotional procesing, and other experiential techniques.
My Story
When I was growing up, my mother's mentor, Yvonne Agazarian, used to teach about the importance of “moving from Explaining to Exploring." Yvonne had invented a form of experiential therapy for groups, where members were invited to report on their experience, in their bodies, in the moment. Because of Yvonne's influence, I had the chance to begin orienting to the inner world really early in life. In fact, I went to officially train with Yvonne when I was only eighteen years old (the moment she would let me!). A year later I began my spiritual study and learned a method for helping people 'tap into their hearts' for healing. I combined both and began offering sessions out of my dorm room in college, aimed at helping people to slow down, feel into their body, and process painful emotions.
Let me share a story from this time: I was walking across campus, mind swimming with thoughts about finals, and this really handsome guy (that I knew of because he was the sort of ‘cool DJ’ on campus), flagged me down. He told me that one of his friends had described doing a session with me where she was able to finally cry tears that had been pent up. He said, “I think I need some of that. Could you hook me up?” Ha! “Mr. Cool” was asking me to help him to cry!
What is the CORE Method?
The CORE (Coherence-Oriented, Relational, Experiential) method is my way of integrating the most impactful elements from experiential therapies into an experiential coaching method. This training is a deep-dive into how to help clients uncover deeper levels of their mind, using techniques such as parts work and emotional processing, all for the sake of transformation through memory reconsolidation.
My unique teaching style and integration of techniques is one I have developed through my almost fifteen years of training therapists and coaches in how to integrate between experiential modalities such as IFS, AEDP, and coherence therapy. Every year I have honed what I teach to have the most impact, both personally and professionally.
This is how the CORE methodology was born.
Why does this acronym fit? Let's look at each piece:
C-O: Coherence-Oriented
A deep understanding of COHERENCE lies at the center of transformational change. Coherence is similar to the IFS concept of NO BAD PARTS and is a cutting edge, deeply respectful and effective way of approaching the human mind. Instead of looking for 'disorder,' we aim to discover how our minds are 'ordered'. In other words, how our reactions make sense based on our inner world of meanings and unconscious beliefs.
R: Relational
Relational attunement is more than a skill; it is a way of being. That is why fostering a deep relational safety and connection is something I integrate into everything that I teach. Here I draw inspiration from models such as IFS and AEDP, both of which work to ‘undo aloneness' (a term coined by Diana Fosha). I call this shift into a relational stance: from 'Managing to Meeting,' and it is one I try to model in my interactions with my students. Only when we caringly meet our inner world can healing begin.
E: Experiential
Experiential. This says it all. Experiential work is my passion, and it's the cutting edge of our field. It is what takes us beyond simply thinking about our issues toward transforming our issues at their root. Experiential work fosters a depth and precision that allows transformational change to flow more quickly and fully than we have ever seen before. Welcome the experiential revolution!!
Those who participate (live) in the full first year of training will be considered a
"Level 1 CORE coach."

DETAILS
DATES:
September 8th, 2026 -
May 25th, 2027
TIMES
The lecture / large group will meet on Tuesdays 1-2:30pm Central Time. The labs are smaller and you will therefore sign up for a 'section' that meets your schedule.
PRICE:
$120 / week, billed monthly. Option to receive a 10% discount if you pay upfront.
How will each week flow?
Weekly Lecture:
Tuesdays 1-2:30pm Central Time
Every Tuesday we will meet as a large group to receive the main teaching for the week. We will alternate between core lectures and demos / review. There will always be time for Q&A, and these meetings will always be recorded (for ongoing viewing, even after course ends).
Weekly Practice Lab
After the weekly lecture, you will meet with a smaller group, primarily led by Tori, in order to practice and watch demo tapes. There will be various 'sections' so you can sign up for the group time that works for your schedule. These labs will give us a chance to work more deeply with the material so that intellectual knowledge can become embodied skill.
Course Library
You will be encouraged to spend some time 'studying' in the library each week, though if you don't have time to review all the material during the 9-months, you will have continued access after the course ends. The weekly lectures will live in the library, along with demonstration sessions (primarily of IFS work), and deliberate practice exercise videos.
Bonuses
To supplement your learning, you will dig into the extra materials and opportunities. You will receive Tori’s Training Manual: Foundations of Experiential Therapy. You will have the chance to learn from guest lectures outside of class (recorded if you can't make the time). You will have access to Tori's discord channel, where you can ask questions for Tori or the group to ponder. You will have the chance to be scheduled with a dyad partner for supplemental practice, if you so chose. You will go as far as you want in your learning!!
Community
During the course of the training, you will build not only knowledge and skills, but something just as valuable: community. Again and again students give us the feedback that developing friendships and connections with fellow-learners has been one of the deepest gifts of participation. Members who do the full training will have the chance to connect during the labs, work together in dyads, and to continue conversations through discord.
Here's what students have to say:
