Patreon Community:
Our Patreon community is a great way to join our Discord Server! If you haven’t heard of Discord, it is like a fancy private chat room/Facebook page where our communitypeople can engage in ongoing conversations and post content. I also try to reply to all questions asked. I want as many people as possible to be able to join us there, so I kept the price low ($5/month…the lowest Patreon tier). Of course at higher tiers, there are added benefits, such as extra videos ($10/month), and live monthly meetings ($25-$50). So Patreon has opened up various ways of becoming connected. Training Groups:
My students often tell me that participating in “Minding the Heart” (my core 6- month training group) was not only a great opportunity to learn, but also a chance to make friends and feel part of a community. Whenever a group ends, it is common for small groups to continue meeting on their own, for instance as free peer consultation groups. In addition, often students will continue with a more advanced group with me, thereby staying in touch both with me, and with other colleagues they’ve met. Just yesterday someone told me that she made lifelong friends during Minding the Heart whom she is still in touch with years later.
